Original observation #228095 (Mushroom Observer)
On saliceous rock in semi-arid grassland habitat. Abundant. Full sun to part shade north side of outcrop. Thallus algal layer discontinuous. Looks to be parasitized by something, see photos of tiny black dots on apothecia. The yellow is an Acarospora species squeezing through the Lecanora thallus, it is not parasitic.
