Collector #: OMS 1000438 Collector(s): Elaine Aragon Determined: 2016-May-05 Determiner: user Joseph D. Cohen Original Determination: Suillus Habitat: Mixed conifer forest; mostly Pseudotsuga menziesii (Douglas-fir), Pinus contorta (Lodgepole / Shore Pine), some Pinus ponderosa (Ponderosa Pine), with Acer circinatum (Vine Maple) in open spots. Aspect: unknown. Area is generally no slope to gentle SW facing slope. Growth Habit: Few Substrate: Soil Closest plant: unknown Other Habitat & Locality Notes: East of NF 4811, between NF 48 and NF 220; in a clearing near NF4811, next to a rock. Closest tree: probably Arctostaphylos patula (Greenleaf Manzanita). Odor: Nondescript Taste: Nondescript Spore print: Other Specimen Notes: No noticeable glandular dots. No noticeable staining of gills or flesh; or perhaps yellows on exposure to air â€" note that flesh is yellow close to pores and to outside of stem. Pores evenly spaced, elongate, >1/mm.
