This massive Oak has been by best "chicken" tree for the last 10 years producing dozens of specimens, sometimes a dozen per year both in Spring and Fall. It is no wonder that there is so much mycelium throughout the entire thing/tree. All the wood was soft and ruined. A strong wind blew this over one night. It was living and appeared to be healthy, if you didn't know any better.
