Growing in the Turkey Creek Unit of the Big Thicket NP. Caps up to 7.6 cm across. Spore print pinkish. Pores bruise light brown. Spores ~ 8.4-12.0(13.0) X 2.6-3.1 microns, bacciliform and smooth. Taste...slowly bitter. I'm throwing out this name mainly because the long narrow spores fit well with the description in BBR, but other things not so much. Not many good photos of T. rhodoconius to compare.
