Cap 6.5 cm across. Flesh was white and didn't see any bruising on any surface.Taste was mild. Could not get a spore print but spores appeared hyaline in 1%KOH. Did not have any chemicals to test with before drying. Spores ~ 10.0-13.7 X 3.0-4.0 microns, cylindric to bacciliform. The yellowish pores seem to rule out Tylopilus. Gyroporus subalbellus has slightly wider spores and apparently shows various brown staining characteristics(?).
