Habitat: growing out of seam between aluminum-clad wood trim (cream) & aluminum window (green). Cap: white with brown scales; dry; irregular up to 7.5 cm across, ~ 3 cm high; margin rolled under. May be a fusion of several fruiting bodies? Gills: white, yellow tinge toward cap margin; broad; torn away from stalk during removal (see photos). Stalk: roughly centered; short (~1.3 cm); somewhat stout (2.0 cm); very tough, cutting it free was difficult. Spores: print white; 7.5 x 2.3 μm, elongate (see photo). Other: FeSO4 & NH4OH negative, NaOH gives tan coloration; odor mushoomy.
