Tricholomopsis rutilans (Schaeff.) Singer (Local names: Ð ÑдоÌвка жÑ'лÑо-кÑаÑнаÑ, опенок желÑо-кÑаÑнÑй, опенок ÑоÑновÑй) Cap: 5-12 cm, convex up to broadly convex, then almost flat with wavy margins when old, sometimes with indistinct knob; dull purplish-red up to orange-brown when old; surface with indistinct radial scales, minor fine velvety. Gills: attached, close, narrow with short and very short intermediate gills, color light yellow up to orange yellow. Stalk: 6-12cm long, 1.2-2cm thick, somewhat fine velvety, fibrous when old, irregular colored dull orange-yellow, orange-brown up to purple (top is lighter and more yellow). Edibility: edible after boiling. Habitat: common kind, single or small group, minor clusters on partially rotten pine wood in pine-tree forest with rare birches. July - September.
