Lyophyllum connatum, Tricholomataceae, Agaricales. (Лиофиллум сросшийся). Cap: 5-10cm wide, whitish or light gray up to very pale brownish-grey (irregular coloured because covered with whitish soapy or silky “powder”), smooth; convex or “square head” (young) up to broadly convex, sometimes with indistinct wide knob or depression and irregular wavy margins; often overlapped, sometimes inter grow each other. Flesh is white; odour is unpleasant as bad soap or dichlorvos type. Gills: attached with pinching out toward stalk, narrow or moderately broad up to broad, whitish or cream-white up to yellowish-white when old. Stalk: 6-10cm long, 1.0-2.5cm thick and usually enlarged toward base, white and silky up to yellowish-white and indistinct fibrous. They accreted together by three or more. Habitat: small, minor big crowded clusters in pine-tree forest with some birches and aspen. Edibility: not edible. Season: July-August.
