Crushed or rubbed mushroom has a clear garlic odour Cap: 8-20 mm wide, cone-shaped, then convex up to almost flat, sometimes with indistinct knob; smooth when young then uneven as micro bumpy or fine velvety, pinkish-white or light pink Gills: gills attached with pinching out to the stalk, moderately broad; whitish up to pinkish-white when drying up. Stalk: 4-7cm long, 1.5-3 mm thick, often narrowing down; upper part (2/3) is red-brown up to dark brown or black toward a basement.
