The size of this immature Lepidella was impressive: 4" tall (not counting the subterranean portion of the bulb) and 2-2.5" wide in the stipe. Of the Pine Barrens Lepidellas, I can only think of A. subcokeri capable of growing so late in the season. Specimen not collected. Hoping to revisit the site on Sunday.
