Notes: In grass ~ 30' from a Spruce tree. Caps 12.5-14.5 cm wide with white flesh. Stipes 6-10 cm long x 18-20 mm at apex, stuffed to hollow with a superior evanescent annulus, flesh white but becomes grayish on cutting. Spore print dark brown.
