On large fallen branch in oak-hickory woods. Resupinate fungus with reflexed caps measuring on average 1.5-2.0 cm. across and 1 cm. high with tiny appressed hairs on the non-fertile surface. Fertile surface has concentric wrinkles and furrows (Arora). Specimens are old and recently subjected to snow and freezing temperatures (on this day, however, it was 70 degrees) but the key characteristics are still clearly distinguishable.
