Original observation #267236 (Mushroom Observer)
Growing in grass by live oak. Caps up to 9.5 cm across surface. KOH on cap and stem turn yellow. Also bruising yellow to orangy. Odor of almonds. Base of stipe flat-bottomed and with a slight flare. Spores ~ 4.5-6.0 X 3.8-4.3 microns, broadly ellipsoid to ellipsoid. These seem to be what is currently known as Agaricus albolutescens.
