Cap grey-brown when young - noticeably greyer and less hygrophanous than other telamonia collected today. The Cap margin is pale while the cap itself appears slightly shiny and mottled, covered with a powdery look. Darker brown when aged. Stipes are silky white outside, staining browner with contact or age.
