This observation refers to a species of Hebeloma that can be found in typical mediterranean habitats, dominated by Quercus trees, particularly Q. suber is ever present, where some disperse pines and/or eucalyptus can be present and many shrubs (including Q. coccifera, Arbutus unedo and several others). In this particular observation, the specimens were located at the interface of the ancient forest with some fields now used for agricultural purposes.
