This observation refers to a species of Hebeloma that can be found in typical mediterranean habitats, dominated by Quercus trees, particularly Q. suber is ever present, where some disperse pines and/or eucalyptus can also exist and many shrubs (including Q. coccifera, Arbutus unedo and several others). In the case of this observation it was a pure mediterranean habitat.
