Solitary, in suburban yard under Nyssa silvatica with maple and hickory nearby. Cap 8.5cm. Stipe 4cm long, 1.6 cm diameter, white with slight greenish color on one side. Cap not sticky. Smell not distinctive, taste mild. Gills white turning cream after collection. Context white. Light spore print white. Stipe turned salmon pink with ferrous sulfate; gills and context stained more brownish. Stipe got some brownish spots with handling. Context and stipe did not change color when cut.
