Found on a south-facing aspect on a hill dominated by aspens growing in the soil. Osha was plentiful in this area. Smell is slightly phenolic and mild. No taste. Flesh white, cap light orangish/brown with some cap pieces curling or hanging over the margin. Stipe white with black/grey scabers. Slowly bruises grey when cut. Specimens from this same patch (within 100 feet of collection) gave me severe gastric distress when ingested two years prior to collection (2015). Intend to send sample for DNA testing.
