Near Oak and Maple. Cap 10-12.5 cm diameter; flesh white; pores white becoming yellowish and staining brown. tubes 5-12 mm long. Stipe 7 cm long x 2.5 cm at apex, solid, tapered to base with white mycelium. NH4OH seemed to produce a brownish or brown-orange reaction on the cuticle and stipe. FeSO4 was either brownish orange or no reaction. This chemical could have just cleaned the cap surface. Not sure.
