This is the second year for this species to fruit on a very decayed tree stump in residential landsape. Last year's specimen can be seen beneath this years new growth. Spore dust from the new specimens is abundant and spread over much of the stump and everything nearby. A smaller specimen can be seen on the opposite side of the stump which is not yet covered with spore dust. Pore surface bruises brown with handling. 3 round pores/mm. Resin droplets visible on pore surfaces.
