I found several specimens of this fungus, growing on a tree (mixed woods) on September 3 2017. Smith’s Woods, NJ, USA. Some specimens were growing underneath so no caps were present. Some other were growing on the side so caps were present. One specimen was rounded and had some parasite growing on it. Caps, yellow ocher orange. Some areas were already becoming dark olive (edges). The ‘gills’ look like curly lasagna, and radiate from a central spot, and are forked at edge, middle and center. KOH turned the flesh dark brown on the act, but it didn’t disintegrate it. Spore print was yellow-greenish.
