Growing on a bed of mulch several yards away from the same white pine that is associated with my "granulatus" post from 4 years ago, obs 149419. Pinkish-tan, slightly variegated caps with lots of gluten following the rains of today. The cap pellicle has a 1 mm overhang. No partial veil remnants or cottony appendiculate material seen anywhere on the cap margins. Yellow pores, exuding a cloudy whitish liquid. Whitish to pale yellow scruffy to squamulose stipes, especially in the upper half, with a smattering of small glandular dots here and there (in some fruiting bodies; other are devoid of them). White basal mycelium. NH4OH = grayish on pellicle; purplish-pink on cap flesh. KOH = dark olive-brown on pellicle; dark purplish-pink, resolving to violet and then to grayish-fuscous on cap flesh.
