Very interesting collections of this species found in multiple locations here today. Has the appearance of Tricholomopsis decora from a distance, but this species has an infundibuliforme cap(depressed in center) and decurrent all yellow gills down the stem. Entire fruiting body uniformly dull yellow. Fruiting from rotting wood-alder in one collection and doug fir in another. Fruiting primarily in a cespitose fashion. Stems slightly textured and minutely hirsute towards base. Cap dry, slightly granulose-waxy.
