Occurrence Remarks:
Growing on cow dung. Caps up to 4.0 cm across and tacky. Spore print purplish black. Spores ~ 12.7-14.2 X 8.0-10.0 microns, ellipsoid to elongate, with a germ pore. Based on what I read in "Mushrooms of the Redwood Coast" by Siegel and Schwarz, these could also be Deconica merdicola (based on spore size). Could not find a lot of definitive info on either.
