Found growing out of hardwood log three days after 4 straight days of rain. Found two othef gymnopilus specimensfrom same log earlier this year in front yard alot of heat and sun. Moved log behind house and now its very damp and warmdays cold night close to freezing .They havent opened enough to see gills or get a spore print.
