There are certainly multiple caloplaca species in this observation, so I probably will break this up into multiple observations in the future and add a few pictures. The genus is abundant here with large, colorful swaths of it amassing into lichen "rainbows" on the rocks. this may be ignea, but it would be taller -lobed and more purple than I have encountered (update: the purple color is fine for ignea. I don't know what to make of the lobe height though)
