This fungus was initially observed on a standing dead Water Oak (Quercus nigra) in November 2015. Followed for more than three years. The tree fell over in Spring 2017. Final sampling February 2018. Microscopy and ID by Django Grootmyers. Monomitic. Hyphae simple septate. Basidia 4-sterigmate. Cystidia with encrusted tips present. Did not notice other cystidia. All parts inamyloid.
