Growing on the underside of a hardwood log near Fagus grandifolia, Quercus spp., Acer sp. and Tsuga canadensis. Somewhat grandinioid. All structures inamyloid. Monomitic, possibly both clamped and simple-septate generative hyphae. Supposed simple septate hyphae may have been from a different fungus on the same log. The clamped hyphae were found associated with the basidia. Cystidia and hyphidia absent. Basidia urniform and 6-sterigmate. Spores smooth, thin-walled and reniform. Spore measurements from Piximetre: (3.7) 4 - 4.4 (5.1) Ã- (1.8) 1.9 - 2.47 (2.5) µm, Q = (1.7) 1.9 - 2.19 (2.2); N = 10, Me = 4.2 Ã- 2.1 µm; Qe = 2 Individual spores: 4.26 x 2.47 µm, 4.06 x 1.99 µm, 4.04 x 2.10 µm, 4.41 x 2.02 µm, 4.04 x 1.99 µm, 4.00 x 1.79 µm, 5.11 x 2.52 µm, 3.71 x 1.89 µm, 4.25 x 2.06 µm, 4.03 x 2.12 µm
