Pileus delicate 4mm to 19mm diameter. Smell earthy, pungent. Taste chalky, earthy. The pileus is hygrophaneous, tawny to nearly cinnabarina. Lamellae is free and close, tan brown to nearly cinnabarina at maturity. Stipe is woody, scaled/fibrillose, color is the same as pileipellis and mature lamellae. 1-3mm thickness 18-35mm length. Attached to well decayed comifer log, in mixed woods, forested.
