Ecoregion: Southern Outer Piedmont Habitat: Growing in leaf litter in mixed hardwood forest Nearest_Tree: Hardwood, oak Habit: Few Cap/upper_surface: Largest ca 7-8 cm diameter; convex; dimpled; bald; yellowish aging to brown. Stipe: Tapering from the base to the apex; ca. 2.5 cm diameter at base; finely reticulated along length, ridges stained deep pink; no bruising when cut.
