Original observation #319054 (Mushroom Observer)
A solitary specimen in grass under two mature Oak trees on residential common ground, wet from recent irrigation. Cap: 4.8 cm., tacky, splitting, margin deeply lined and pimply with cinnamon colored spots between the lines, surface peeling away. Gills discolored with reddish-brown splotches. Stipe: 4.7 cm. X 1.1 cm., fragile, cavernous. discoloring brown where handled. KOH negative on cap, stipe, and flesh. Cream spore print. Very faint pleasant odor from crushed gills only, otherwise not readily noticeable.
