Scattered solitarily beneath pine in needle liter. Small, cap about 1-3 cm wide and fruiting body about 3-6 cm tall. Cap salmon-orange, slightly depressed, some specimens with small, pointed umbo. Gills whitish/creamy becoming pale yellowish upon age/handling. Attached to decurrent. Stipe about 0.5 to 1.5 cm wide, color similar to cap though white near base. Latex not really present at first, though slightly visible within minutes. Mostly clear/white color, not changing in time.
