Four rosette shaped specimens clustered on buried wood and wood chips near the base of a mature Honey Locust tree in residential neighborhood, appearing terrestrial. Largest specimen measures 6 cm. X 5 cm. and is 4 cm. high. Cap surface is finely felty. See close-up Image #7866. Specimens are moist and pliable. Fertile surface has irregular pores that appear mazelike from some angles. KOH was negative. I obtained a white spore print.
