Dirks Collection_Number(s): UWMA0091 Habitat: Mixed hardwood forest in a boggy, wetland area next to the road Taste_and_Odor: Delicious and pleurotoid, although aged so a little fishy Chemical_Reactions: Not determined Spore_Print: Pale lilac Other: This fruiting extended way up a small cottonwood tree. With a stepladder I harvested about 5 pounds, but there was about twice as much or more too high up to reach.
