A fruiting body(about 70ft. up the Douglas fir substrate) that I have monitored for many, many years. Still alive and producing new annual growth layers in the habitual downward, beehive appearing fashion(narrowing and lengthening w/each passing season). Took fellow myconut Paul Hill and fellow Mycologist Django Grootmeyers to this old friend during early Spring in 2016 to acquaint them with one of my favorite, sacred stomping grounds here. Hoping this(and the two other Agarikon infected Douglas firs I know, love and have monitored) at the park continue to grow for many more years to come.
