Original observation #332102 (Mushroom Observer)
Pileus: 100 x 66 mm, broadly convex to pulvinate, upturned brittle margin, floccose to roughly 1/3 in from margin, several pits near center, somewhat radially streaked, buff/beige with lighter center and margin. Context: 5 mm thick, eburneous, does not stain. Lamellae: emarginate, pale buff/beige, close, broad, undulate to subserrulate. Stipe: 93 x 14 mm, equal, pale buff/beige, narrowly hollow, clavate base. Spore Print: white. Spores: 5 – 7.5 x 5-6 µm, amygdaliform, hyaline, inamyloid. Habitat: terrestrial under mixed hardwoods and conifers (primarily oaks, maple & hemlock).
