Was growing in clusters, along a road cut, under trees, in soil. The cap and stipe viscid with a powdery spore mass. The stipe was extremely thick but not very long. the stipe was measured at 4 cm long. The stipe was extremely spongy and netted with a yellowish-brown color. the spores on average 14 microns in length by 10 microns in width. Spores were elliptical, roughened. Spores did not react with melzers.
