Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca 09292018 Lake Itasca State Park (Park Rapids, MN) - Habitat: Mixed woods, growing in precense of conifers (red pine) - Habit: Gregariously/numerous - Substrate: Well decayed conifer log - Pileus: yellow/orange/dark brown blackish in center of older specimen. Relatively smooth with soft, flimsy/fleshy consistancy. Horizontal width=4-7 cm. - Gills: light orange. Possibly lighter towards margin. Corrugated appearance. - Stipe: Flexuous, darkening in mature and slightly wider at base. Light orange/daded blackish brown. Slightly eccentric attatchment. - Spore Print: White (hints of crems-ish yellow)
