Two fully mature fruiting bodies flushing between mature Douglas fir and Western Hemlock. This small patch of moss and grass has quite the fungal diversity. Amanita muscaria var flavivolvata, Chalciporus spp., Suillus lakei, Gomphidius glutinosus, Inocybe sororia and Hypholoma species are all intermittently flushing within a few yards of one another in this network of mature coniferous roots(Doug fir/Hemlock). This is the first season to have Grissette's fruiting. Unusually warm temps this October have made a diverse overlap of species to be prompted into bloom.
