Specimen was found next to a rotting oak stump, in leaf litter. Sporocarp is approximately 13 cm broad, buff to tarnish-white colored, convexed, dry and firm, with darker warts causing a rough texture. Gills are deccurent and white in color. Stalk is thick based, 6 cm long, and found roughened with what could be fibers. Spore print is white to tan, with spores being cylindrical and smooth, approximately 9x4 microns.
