Collected by Maricel Pation near 280 Old Tuckerton Rd., which is to the south east of Chatsworth. This is a disjunct piece of FPP land. The habitat was reported to be wet. Birch had to be present, but was not observed/not paid attention to. Cap "footprint" = 4.5 cm wide; cap flesh = ~1.5 cm thick above the stipe; tubes = 1.2 cm deep; stipe length = at least 11.5 cm long; stipe width = 6 mm near apex, 9 mm wide max in the middle. The cap surface had some faint greenish hues. The stipe base was not extracted whole, but one can see faint bluing in that area in the cross-section pic. No reddening of the exposed flesh was detected. To my knowledge this is the first collection of this kind (i.e., sect./subsect. Scabra)made in FPP.
