Fruiting from a buried, moss covered log(mostly Douglas fir and Western hemlock in canopy but sparse red Alder growth was present). Fruiting bodies have light tan caps and only extreme base of stems is blackened with age. Young fruiting bodies are nearly completely creamy/white from cap to base. Largest caps are 7cm/infundibuliforme.
