Growing among hardwood leaf litter. Pileipellis composed of rounded cells. Clamps present in the stipe trama and in the lamellar trama. Caulocystidia present at the stipe apex: thin-walled, clavate to cylindrical, some with irregular lateral projections. Caulocystidia measurements: (40.9) 40.91 - 63.2 Ã- (4.1) 4.13 - 8.7 µm, Q = (6.6) 6.64 - 10.2; N = 5, Me = 48.6 Ã- 6.2 µm; Qe = 8. Lamellar trama dextrinoid. All other hymenial structures inamyloid. Pleurocystidia fusoid or fusoid-ventricose, thin-walled with resinous caps on one or both ends. Pleurocystidia measurements: (67.3) 69.5 - 89.4 (118.7) Ã- (9.4) 10.2 - 12.8 (13.3) µm, Q = (5.4) 5.7 - 8.3 (9.3); N = 15, Me = 79.5 Ã- 11.5 µm; Qe = 7. Cheilocystidia roughly the same as the pleurocystidia. Basidia cylindrical. Sterigmata were difficult to view. Spores smooth, thin-walled and hyaline. Spore measurements: (5.6) 6.4 - 8.2 (9) Ã- (3.8) 3.9 - 4.9 (5.8) µm, Q = (1.2) 1.5 - 1.8 (1.9); N = 30, Me = 7.3 Ã- 4.4 µm; Qe = 1.7
