Original observation #361454 (Mushroom Observer)
Notes:
Growing under oaks. Radially fibrillose cap. Red staining on gills. Abundant hymenial cystidia, some of which are encrusted. Spores are roughly 10 x 5. Strong smell of overripe pears, a smell that, to quote a fellow forayer, is “almost good.”
