Possibly Sebacinia incrustans? Found on moss bryophyte often on bark of maple trees and forms a white crust around gametophytes. On tree bark, moss eventually necroses and turns black. Similarly seen growing on moss on forest floor at this site. Under microscope, difficult to discern detail but many spherical to slightly elliptical spores. Possibly a deuteromycte but no evidence of condiophores.
