Cap that is 3 – 4.5 cm wide. Smooth (NOT ridged) and colored olive. Slime coating. Small conical pore opening with a white perimeter at the apex. Pink volva with rhizomorphs on base. Stem: Stipe is firm, olive green to white (lighter than the fruiting body/cap surface). Flesh: Light olive to white. Firm. Odor and taste: Putrescent odor. Spores: Smooth. Elliptical shape. 3-4.5 by 1.2 u. Hyaline and cylindric.
